The products and services offered at www.thecompliancetraining.com are provided by CCM Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of Malta. The present Terms and Conditions regulate the purchasing of e-learning courses via www.thecompliancetraining.com by natural persons and apply to all and any such purchasing, without exemption. The present Terms and Conditions furthermore regulate the visit of the websites at www.thecompliancetraining.com and apply to all and any such use. By visiting the websites and/or purchasing courses via the websites, you agree in the present Terms and Conditions in their currents state, as displayed on the websites at the time of use and/or purchasing.

Legal persons and/or companies are expressively excluded from the applicability of these Terms and Conditions. Proposals for individually designed e-learning solutions for companies can be requested via info@thecompliancetraining.com, but fall in no event under the present Terms and Conditions, when not agreed expressive with CCM Limited.

Our Services

CCM Limited offers e-learning courses and related services (such as assessments and certificates for courses successfully completed).

All our courses are developed carefully, tested duly and provided via an up-to-date technical infrastructure. Some courses may also be subject to additional requirements and/or restrictions. Availability of a course on the websites does not constitute an entitlement to purchase such course, in case such requirements and/or restrictions exist. The decision whether a course can be purchased lies, in particular, with CCM Limited on its own discretion.

CCM Limited offers the possibility to download personal certificates upon successful completing of several courses. These certificates form personal certifications for the particular user having completed a certain course successfully, but are not transferable and are not designed to certify anything that may go beyond the content of the said course for which the certificate in question was granted.

By purchasing a course, CCM Limited grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable and non-commercial right to use the website for the purpose of attending the particular course. Commercial exploitation, use for purposes beyond the ones set out in these Terms and Conditions and public displaying of the offers of CCM Limited at www.thecompliancetraining.com are expressively excluded and will be prosecuted legally, when conducted without CCM Limited’s expressive consent.

No intellectual property will be transferred under these Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, all copyright and/or intellectual property provided in the course of the provision of e-learning courses or on the websites of CCM Limited, shall vest in CCM Limited in the relationship between CCM Limited and users of www.thecompliancetraining.com hereunder.

Updates and Revisions

The present Terms and Conditions may be updated and/or revised from time to time. Revisions and updates will apply immediately upon their issuing on the websites. Updates and revisions will be advised on the websites upon issuing. Continuing use of the websites therefore constitutes agreement to the then updated and/or revised Terms and Conditions.

Data Privacy and Protection

CCM Limited processes personal data with the particular user’s consent, for the purpose of providing e-learning courses and related products and services to its user’s, and/or when covered by our legitimate interests. Such legitimate interest may be

  • the enabling, optimisation and improvement of the services offered by CCM Limited,
  • the detection of abuse of the websites operated and/or the services provided by CCM Limited,
  • the identification and solution of dysfunctions on the Websites of CCM Limited,
  • the enforcement of contractual agreements and/or legal duties, and

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit CCM Limited’s liability for death and/or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or for breach of intellectual property rights.

CCM Limited does not take over liability for damages occurring with users of its products and services offered at www.thecompliancetraining.com due to incorrect and/or incomplete content of a certain course.

CCM Limited’s total aggregate liability under these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the sum of fees paid to CCM Limited in favour of the products and services offered at www.thecompliancetraining.com by the particular user claiming such damages.


CCM Limited reserves the right to terminate the use of its products and services offered at www.thecompliancetraining.com for a particular user at any time and on its own discretion.


CCM Limited does not make no representations, warranties or conditions, whether expressively, implied, or otherwise including without limitation warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, no encumbrances, no liens and non-infringement of third-party rights beyond the extent statutory required.

Severability and Waiver

In case a particular provision of the present Terms and Conditions is not valid or unenforceable, this shall affect the particular provision, but not the present Terms and Conditions in their entirety. CCM Limited reserves the right to take action against violations and/or attempted violations of these Terms and Conditions whenever deemed necessary and on its sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, not enforcing a particular entitlement does not constitute CCM Limited’s waiver to such entitlement.

General Provisions

The present Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement and understanding between CCM Limited and the user and shall, for the avoidance of doubt, supersede all prior or contemporaneous negotiations, agreements, arrangements and understandings, whether written or oral.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta under exclusion of the UNCCISG. The present terms and Conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
